We have been doing tape & reel service for over 35 years, meaning that our costumer are benefiting especially from our wide-ranging and continuously increasing know-how.
Our team offers expert advice in all areas of taping technology in order to find optimal and economically advantageous solutions for manual or automatic taping processes. Whether it’s advice on contract taping or taking over the production of tools for blister tapes – we are at your side with our expertise to precisely meet your requirements.
We strap all electronic components from bars, trays or bulk goods. We can produce suitable blister tapes for newly introduced parts for you. Hot and cold sealing is possible.
Our radial taping technology covers the entire range of components from a pitch of 2.5 mm to 27.5 mm, with a component spacing of 12.7 mm to 38.1 mm.
Many electronic components are not available from component manufacturers in ready-made format, but only as wired axial or radial components.
We have been doing tape & reel service for over 35 years, meaning that our costumer are benefiting especially from our wide-ranging and continuously increasing know-how.
We are a highly innovative medium sized service company in the field of SMD-, radial- and axial taping (tape & reel of SMD-, radial- and axial components). Since 1986 we are located in Neutraubling near Regensburg in the surroundings of well-known electronic and automotive companies.
Our services reaches from tape & reel of surface mounted components, radial leaded components, axial leaded components to component preparation, packing and tempering of sensitive parts. Moreover we offer assembly operations and other special services.
Our business startet in Neutraubling in Zwickauer Straße. Due to steady growth of clients and incoming orders, we moved into our highly sophisticated administration- and productionbuilding in Neugablonzer Str. 6 in 2001. In 2006 our capacities exceeded the limit again. So we enlarged our building in 2007. Currently we are finishing an additional company building nearby. We have been moving into these new and stand-alone production- and administration building with an area of 500 squaremetres for one week. Production flow has already started there.
This significant capital expenditure, electrostatic protected productionrooms, including brand new tape and reel facilities, special tools for packing of components and highly educated employees enables us to offer individual and optimum solutions for satisfied customers.
If you have any questions, let us advise you!
Using taping systems that are developed, designed and manufactured in cooperation with partner companies, we are able to carry out high-quality SMD and radial taping. The taping is carried out in accordance with DIN EN 60286/1-3.
Quality control and quality assurance are the top priority at workstations, which are of course equipped in accordance with the EGB regulations DIN EN 61340-5-1/2.
Our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications are further proof of our quality
Why is ESD packaging used?
Packaging materials for ESD protection are used to protect electronic components against electrostatic discharge (ESD). They can be made from different materials such as antistatic plastic, metallic foil or conductive foam.
What does RoHS mean?
RoHS stands for “Restriction of Hazardous Substances”. The aim is to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic devices. The aim of the directive is to reduce the environmental impact and health risks posed by these substances and to make the recycling and disposal processes for old electronic devices safer.
What are printed circuit boards (PCBs)?
Printed circuit boards, also known as PCBs, are the basis of electronic circuits and are used in almost every electronic device. Conductive tracks and pads are applied to PCBs to enable electrical connection between various components such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits (ICs) and others
What does EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) mean?
These are companies that offer a wide range of services relating to the testing, assembly and production of electronic components, assemblies and complete systems for other companies.
How does component drying work?
We dry or temper moisture-sensitive components in accordance with the IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 standard or customer specifications. These are then dry-packed together with a moisture indicator and desiccant bag. A nitrogen filling can also be added as an option.
What is radial taping?
Radial taping is a specialised process used in electronics production to prepare wired components for the automated assembly/machining process, in which the wired components ( THT ‘Throug-Hole-Technology’ ) are attached to a cardboard tape using an adhesive tape. This process enables pick-and-place machines to grip the components efficiently and quickly and feed them to the next processing steps with high precision. There is a roll or Ammopack version. Taping is carried out in accordance with DIN EN 60286-2.
What is component preparation / component assembly?
Many electronic components are not available from component manufacturers in ready-made format, but only as wired axial or radial components, e.g. resistors, diodes, electrolytic capacitors, varistors, transistors, etc.. In order to be able to equip printed circuit boards (PCBs) with wired components, the connecting wires of the components often have to be bent, cut, beaded or moulded to customer specifications so that they can be inserted into the corresponding connection holes in the PCB without any problems. Depending on availability, wired components are delivered to us taped, magazined or loose. We offer our customers a large number of variations of ...
What is SMD taping?
SMD taping is a specialised process used in electronics production to prepare surface-mounted components for the automated assembly process on printed circuit boards. In this process, the SMD components are arranged in a precise sequence on a carrier tape (blister tape) and fixed in the tape by covering film or by direct sealing. This carrier tape enables pick-and-place machines to grip the components efficiently and quickly and place them on the PCB with high precision.
